How to play
- 3 to 16 players, one phone, no internet needed.
- Pass the phone round the circle. Everyone answers the same question in secret.
- Each round, one of you is secretly the Muqallid (the mimic) and writes as someone else.
- The answers come up one at a time with no names. On three, everyone points at who they think wrote it.
- Guess right: 1 point. Each person your answer fools: 2 points.
What's free, and what's paid?
Free: The Basics deck and 3 to 6 players. Unlock everything is one purchase for every paid deck, now and in future, and up to 16 players. The Gathering Pass unlocks everything for 24 hours from the moment you buy it, and it does not renew.
I deleted the app, or I have a new iPhone. Are my purchases gone?
No. Purchases belong to your Apple Account, not to the app. Install the app with the same Apple Account and open it: it asks Apple what you have bought and unlocks it by itself. If something is still locked, open the unlock screen and tap Restore Purchases.
A Gathering Pass comes back too, until 24 hours after you bought it. Deleting the app does not pause or extend it.
My pass ran out in the middle of a game
The game you are playing always finishes. The next game is back to the free version, unless you buy again.
How do I redeem a code?
In the app, use the redeem option on the home screen. Or open the App Store app, tap your account picture, then Redeem Gift Card or Code.
How do I get a refund?
Apple handles every payment, so refunds go through Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com. We can't issue refunds ourselves.
Report a problem
Shake the phone while the app is open, or tap Report a problem. A report opens with space to describe what happened and the details that help us fix it (app version, iOS version, iPhone model, the app's language and the screen you were on). You can add the latest game file (counts and timings only) and a screenshot, which is off until you turn it on. Nothing is sent until you send it yourself, from Mail or the share sheet, to support@sulimanmukhtar.com.
Does the app need the internet?
No. The game works anywhere, even on a desert trip with no signal. Buying, restoring and checking purchases are done by iOS with Apple, so they need a connection when they happen.
Are our answers saved?
No. Names and answers are never saved, and the app never sends them anywhere. Names go on a score card only if you switch on "Show names", and answers never do. The privacy policy has the details.
How do I change the language?
Use the العربية / English switch on the home screen. The questions change language too.
